The Last Antique Market On Baltimore’s Hip Historic Waterfront

What: Flea Market Finds in Historic Fells Point

Where: 812 S. Ann St., Baltimore, MD

When: Every second Sunday of the month, April-October 11

Why: If you didn’t get your fill of vintage and repurposed at Baltimore’s six best second-hand shops, check out the final antique flea of the year, Second Sunday Antique Markets, in the heart of Historic Fells Point. One of Baltimore’s original neighborhoods, it’s the perfect setting for a market selling everything from the very, very distant past to the not-so-long-ago. (Where does a vinyl copy of Michael Jackson’s Bad for $20 land on that timeline?)

On our visit in August, we spotted pocket watches, baseball cards, Matchbox cars, Mickey Mouse statuettes, cocktail sets, vintage luggage, pocket knives, cameras, tattered Tom Robbins books, Pucci-inspired scarves and, yes indeed, lots more stuff. Luckily, the area around the Broadway Square market is loaded with cafes, restaurants, and bars so you can take a break before getting back to sifting through bric-a-brac. If you find a rare treasure, celebrate at Red Star, a few blocks away, where the Sunday brunch includes bottomless mimosas or bloody Marys.

Cost: Free admission

How to get there: Consult our Manhattan to Baltimore Transportation Advisor for multiple travel options to Baltimore. Once in town, take the Water Taxi to the market, For more info on the flea or Fells Point historic walking tours—check out the website below. (812 S.
